I am honored to have had the opportunity to install this work in the Santa Fe home of Garth Clark and Mark DelVecchio. The installation pictured was completed in May of this year.
This piece is included in an exhibition of the Garth Clark and Mark Del Vecchio Collection at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, March 4-June 3 2012. March 4 is a symposium featuring speakers Cindi Strauss, Garth Clark, Ezra Shales, Jenni Sorkin, Jorunn Veiteberg and Mark Del Vecchio. There will be a catalog published jointly by the MFA-H and Yale University Press.
Here are images of some materials research of on-site soils in the form of a 1:1 study of the north wall of my residence.
I am pleased to announce that the piece pictured has been acquired by the Museum of Fine Arts Houston as part of the Garth Clark and Mark Del Vecchio Collection. I have three pieces available from the same series, pictured below. For inquiries please email. To purchase please visit here.
